If required, we send our roots, herbs and barks to a contract sterilization facility specializing in customized pathogen and bacteria reduction for the food, spice, cosmetic, flavoring and cosmetic industries. Our current preferred method is heat treatment.
Based on the results of the sterilization process, we will offer each customer a CoA. The information listed on the CoA will include: TPC, yeast, mold, coliform, E. coli, salmonella and heavy metal results. However, if additional results are required, we will do our best to meet your needs. The overall goal of the sterilization process is to meet the customer’s specific guidelines for their product while maintaining the integrity of the ingredient being treated.
